The first fully automated RFID monitoring system: EasyMonitor™ automates the monitoring, management, and maintenance of RFID infrastructure in a user-friendly and scalable manner from an offsite location.

With EasyMonitor™, problem root causes are quickly identified and addressed remotely, dramatically reducing on-site troubleshooting needs. It presents all of these capabilities in an easy to navigate, to-scale, visual topology of the RFID infrastructure deployment. Users can see and reconfigure RFID performance in real-time from a command dashboard that is topologically accurate and in context. EasyMonitor™ enables RFID use cases to operate that demand accurate and sustained RFID performance.

EasyEdge™ provides passive RFID middleware functionality in an agent based form. It is designed to either replace traditional passive RFID middleware or augment it with additional features at the device level. The solution reduces integration, maintenance, management, and support costs. Its features range from device integration to automated RFID read performance and filtering, device monitoring and ancillary device control. The EasyEdge™ agent runs directly on RFID readers eliminating the need for costly server infrastructure. EasyEdge™ also integrates easily into other RFID middleware, custom applications, and enterprise systems. The peer-to-peer EasyEdge™ architecture adds both scalability and reliability to RFID systems, and the connection architecture enables the ultimate flexibility of connections to a diverse set of readers.

EasyReader™

EasyReader™ accelerates and improves one of the biggest initial challenges faced by most RFID installations: site design, bill of material development, configuration, and acceptance testing. These are challenges common to all installations, but become more difficult as RFID systems scale and implementation consistency needs to be managed. State of the art techniques previously, were to use a combination of spreadsheets, Word documents, and proprietary reader software to record the solution configurations, bill of material, and conduct trial-and-error testing. EasyReader™ automates these processes and puts them all into one easy-to-use application.

Reducing cost while Improving Installation Efficiency and Consistency

EasyReader™ has successfully reduced design and documentation time by more than 20-50% and acceptance testing time for an RFID solution implementation by 50%. EasyTag™

EasyTag™ software and testing methodology identifies the right RFID tag, location, and orientation. Because tags perform differently with different materials, at different locations and at different channels within the UHF spectrum, sorting through the tag selection variables can be frustrating. EasyTag™ demystifies tag selection by applying proven science to measure the physics of tag response. ODIN technologies was the first company to perform scientific measurements to select the right tags and right location. Our method for tag selection leverages the physics of frequency response characterization to quickly differentiate how different tags perform in different locations on different product SKUs.

EasyTag™ software automatically records the data and analyzes the output from independent tag tests. Consequently, you can test more tags, locations and SKUs and deliver much more accurate results than anyone in the industry today. ODIN technologies has set the industry standard for scientific SKU testing and tag selection.

From analysis tool to business tool: putting scientific SKU testing in the hands of end users

ODIN technologies initially developed our testing methodology and the EasyTag™ analysis tool as a competitive advantage for internal use on behalf of our clients. We built the methodology and EasyTag™ to automate the testing and tag selection process allowing us to provide more sound results at a lower cost. Recently, however, many clients requested that we commercialize EasyTag™ to give them control over tag testing activities in house, and package design process. EasyTag™ offers greater control and significantly lower total cost than outsourcing the testing.
