Airbus industries completed an exhaustive search for an exclusive RFID partner in 2006-07. After nearly a year long process they chose ODIN and ODIN provided Airbus with an Industry-leading innovation. As a result, Airbus was recognized as the 2008 Best RFID Implementation Award Winner at RFID Journal Live in April 2008.

Challenges: Reduce costs, eliminate labor costs, increase Work In Process accuracy and visibility, cut inventory.

Result: Airbus projects have been a huge success. The company was able to save as much as 30% in labor costs, and reduce inventories up to 18% on specified projects. One WIP tracking process alone eliminated 10 million manual bar codes annually.
